New for AW24 is the Luna Shetland Ladies Tweed Coat, made entirely from Scottish 100% Shetland undyed wool. The wool is sheared from different coloured Shetland sheep, washed and then spun into undyed yarns of different natural colours. These are then woven to produce a completely natural tweed. It’s our most sustainable tweed and is a modern take on how tweed was first produced. It has all the key features you would expect from a ladies shooting coat.

The ground of the tweed is a nailhead design of light and dark greys, with a large scale windowpane of dark brown. At 390 g/m it’s lightweight but warm, perfectly at home in both town and country.

UNIQUE PRODUCTION PROCESS:

• High quality tweed, milledby Lovat Mill in Hawick, Scotland, sent to finishers and washed in waters from the Tweed
• Fabric then sent to Northamptonshire, England, to our master coatmakers, with over 40 years’ experience. Marked, cut, sewn by hand.
• Rigorous quality control inspection by people not machines

• Alcantara (man-made hard-wearing suede) trimming in high wear areas (cuffs, entry points to cartridge pockets)
• Raglan sleeve with large vertical inverted pleat for maximum freedom of movement around shoulders and arms, creating a flattering silhouette
• Main zip buttoned storm flap for extra weather protection
• Military twill luxurious lining with heavy weave cotton lower drip strip
• One zippered and one buttoned internal breast pockets, one large button fastened internal pocket for stowing caps / ear protection
